Capitec Bank Ltd is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their dynamic IT department focused on electronic payments and treasury solutions in Sandton, GT, ZA. The role involves leading business analysis for payments and treasury projects, analyzing, documenting, and optimizing business processes related to electronic payments, including EFT, DebiCheck, RTC, RTGS, SWIFT, ISO 20022, and international/forex payments. The ideal candidate should have proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in payments, banking, or financial services, 6-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, deep understanding of electronic payment types, payment networks, and ISO 20022 standards, strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, relevant tertiary qualification, technical acumen, and ability to work independently and drive initiatives in a dynamic environment. The minimum education requirement is a Grade 12 National Certificate/Vocational with a relevant certificate in Business Analysis. Skills include attention to detail, communication, negotiation, interpersonal and relationship management, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis for payments and treasury projects, engaging directly with senior stakeholders, including CFO-level presentations and workshops
• Analyze, document, and optimize business processes related to electronic payments, including EFT, DebiCheck, RTC, RTGS, SWIFT, ISO 20022, and international/forex payments
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and testers to deliver robust solutions for intraday treasury operations and new payment systems
• Provide expert guidance on payment industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Support the onboarding and growth of a new, innovative team within the organization

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• A relevant certificate in Business Analysis
